Description: This is a new campus for Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) at Punggol North, Singapore. Situated within the IT-focused business park in Punggol Digital District, the footprint of the new campus of the Singapore Institute of technology was optimized through Web Structures’ integration of structural and environmental design. Sustainability drivers, such as water resource management, were prioritized in the multi-objective optimisation amongst parameters such as safety, serviceability, buildability, time and cost. The final structural solution was a material hybrid based on minimizing environmental impact.
